ELIAS BARTHOLOMEO
Thursday 6th February 8pm $25

Online tickets available HERE

Elias, a virtuoso fiingerstyle guitarist, musician hailing from Sydney, Australia, embarked on his musical journey at the tender age of 4 under the guidance of his grandfather. Immersed in the sounds of Jerry Reed, The Shadows, Chet Atkins & Tommy Emmanuel, Elias was inspired to emulate their mastery. Despite being self-taught and unable to read music, he honed his craft through ear training and collaboration with fellow musicians.

At 16 years old, Elias had the opportunity live out his dream and perform alongside Tommy Emmanuel in the Maui Cultural Arts Centre, Hawaii - an experience that further fueled his passion for music. Over the years, he has had the privilege of collaborating with numerous musicians from across the globe, enriching his musical repertoire.

PROMISE and PROMISCUITY

A New Musical by Jane Austen and Penny Ashton
(New Zealand)

Thurs 19th & Fri 20th June 7.30pm $36, $32 conc

Online tickets available HERE

Flushed by twelve years of sold out successes from Edinburgh to Adelaide to Toronto, comes Miss Ashton’s collaboration with Jane Austen (deceased). In 2025 Penny is celebrating the 250th anniversary of our lady Jane Austen’s birth by rattling her airborne carriage across the Tasman Sea to Australiashire.    Join Elspeth as she battles literary snobbery, cousin Horatio’s digestions and her mother’s nerves, armed only with a blushing countenance, excellent ukulele skills and being quite bright, you know… for a girl.

In this hilarious, one-(freakishly talented)-woman show, Penny tackles all of Austen’s characters with song, dance and appalling cross-stitching.

Having been performed over 600 times, Promise and Promiscuity has sold out audiences in six countries and gathered a veritable slew of awards and glowing reviews in its musical bonnet.
